Iridium Response Consulting LLC ("Iridium," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy, safety, and dignity of every person who visits our website or communicates with our business. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect, why we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
This policy applies to iridiumresponse.com and to information submitted through our website, Iridium Wing newsletter signup, Iridium Intention emails, donation and payment features, consulting and workshop inquiries, mural and creative-project inquiries, and related business communications.
1. Information We May Collect
Contact and identity information. This may include your name, email address, organization, role, and any other details you choose to provide when you subscribe, inquire about services, request a meeting, register for an offering, or communicate with us.
Newsletter information. When you join the Iridium Wing, we collect the email address and related subscription information needed to send Iridium Intention messages, confirmation emails, invitations, and other communications you requested. Email-system records may also show delivery, opening, and link activity.
Donation, purchase, and transaction information. When you donate, purchase, or pay through the website, we may receive your name, contact information, transaction amount, date, status, and limited billing or order information. Payment credentials, such as complete card numbers, are processed by the payment provider and are not intended to be stored directly by Iridium.
Inquiry and project information. If you ask about consulting, training, workshops, speaking, fundraising support, custom artwork, jewelry, murals, or other services, we may collect the project details, preferences, messages, images, documents, and other information you voluntarily provide.
Technical and usage information. Squarespace and related technologies may collect device, browser, IP address, cookie, log, referral, and website-usage information needed to operate, secure, understand, and improve the site.
Promotion or giveaway information. If Iridium offers a drawing, giveaway, or similar promotion, we may use the information provided to administer entries, verify eligibility, contact a selected recipient, prevent misuse, and maintain records required by applicable rules or law.
2. Sensitive Information and Safety
Iridium's work may involve trauma-informed subjects, safety concerns, or lived experience. A general website form, newsletter form, social-media message, or ordinary email should not be used to send medical records, detailed trafficking or abuse histories, precise safe-location information, Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, or other highly sensitive information unless Iridium specifically requests it and provides an appropriate method.
Please share only what is reasonably necessary for the immediate purpose. If information relates to another person, including a child, confirm that you are authorized to provide it. Iridium may decline, delete, or redirect information that should not have been submitted through a general communication channel.
3. How We Use Information
Provide and manage services. We use information to respond to inquiries, schedule meetings, prepare proposals, deliver consulting, training, creative work, workshops, products, or other requested services, and manage the related business relationship.
Communicate with you. We use contact information to send requested confirmations, Iridium Intention messages, service communications, receipts, updates, invitations, and responses. Marketing or newsletter messages are sent only through an appropriate signup or permission process.
Process transactions. We use limited transaction information to complete donations and payments, provide receipts, handle refunds or disputes, maintain accounting records, and meet tax or legal obligations.
Operate and protect the website. We use technical information to maintain site functionality, prevent spam and fraud, troubleshoot problems, understand general site use, and protect Iridium, visitors, and the public.
Comply with law and protect rights. We may use information when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, enforce agreements, or protect safety, privacy, property, and legal rights.
4. When Information May Be Shared
Iridium does not knowingly sell or rent personal information. We do not use personal information for targeted advertising or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Information may be disclosed only as reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:
Service providers. Vendors may process information for website hosting, forms, email delivery, analytics, spam prevention, business email, file storage, payment processing, security, and other operational support. Current or potential providers include Squarespace, Google Workspace or Google services, PayPal, Squarespace Payments, and payment options displayed at checkout. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
Professional and operational support. Accountants, attorneys, insurers, contractors, or other professional advisers may receive limited information when reasonably necessary to support the business and subject to appropriate duties or restrictions.
Legal, safety, and rights protection. Information may be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to respond to valid legal process, prevent fraud or misuse, protect a person's safety, or protect legal rights and property.
Business change or consent. Information may be transferred as part of a lawful merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of business assets, subject to appropriate protections, or shared for another purpose with your direction or consent.
5. Payments and Donations
Payments and donations made through the website are handled by third-party payment services. Those providers may collect billing, identity, device, fraud-prevention, and payment information directly from you. Their privacy policies and terms govern their processing. Iridium generally receives confirmation and limited transaction details rather than complete payment-card credentials.
Questions about a charge, refund, or donation may require Iridium to review transaction records and communicate with the relevant payment provider. Financial and transaction records may be retained as reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal purposes.
6. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
The website uses cookies and similar technologies that may be necessary for security, page functions, forms, payments, preferences, and performance. Squarespace and connected providers may also use analytics technologies to help us understand website activity.
Where a cookie banner or privacy controls are provided, you may use them to accept, reject, or manage non-essential cookies. You may also adjust browser settings, although blocking some cookies can affect site functions. If Iridium later adds new advertising, social-media, scheduling, or analytics tools, this policy and the site's cookie choices should be updated accordingly.
7. Iridium Wing and Iridium Intention Emails
Joining the Iridium Wing is voluntary. Subscribers may receive one meaningful Iridium Intention each month, along with confirmations, invitations, or related messages described at signup. Subscription confirmation helps ensure that the person controlling the email address chose to join.
You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email. After an unsubscribe request, we may retain limited information needed to honor the request, prevent unwanted resubscription, maintain compliance records, and protect the integrity of our mailing list. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary transaction or service messages connected to an active request or relationship.
8. Information About Children and Young People
Iridium may describe programs or services that benefit children and young people, but the website is intended for adults, parents or guardians, professionals, and authorized organizations. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information online directly from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization or verifiable parental consent.
Do not submit a child's sensitive story, identifying image, school, precise location, medical information, or safety information through a public form or general email unless you are authorized and Iridium has requested the information through an appropriate process. If you believe a child provided personal information without proper authorization, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain an active relationship, to honor communication choices, and to meet legitimate accounting, tax, contractual, security, dispute-resolution, and legal obligations.
Newsletter records. Subscription information is generally kept while a person remains subscribed. Limited suppression or consent records may remain after unsubscribing when needed to honor the person's choice and document compliance.
Inquiry and client records. Communications and project records may be kept while an inquiry or engagement is active and afterward for a reasonable period based on operational, contractual, safety, insurance, and legal needs.
Transaction records. Donation, payment, order, and accounting records may be retained for the periods reasonably necessary to meet tax, financial-reporting, fraud-prevention, and legal requirements.
Technical records. Cookies, logs, analytics, and security records are retained according to the applicable settings, purpose, and service provider practices.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete it, de-identify it, or allow it to expire according to applicable systems and law.
10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to ask whether we process your personal information; request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; or opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify identity and protect information from unauthorized access. You do not need to create an account, and lawful requests will not result in discriminatory treatment.
If we deny a request and applicable law gives you an appeal right, email the same address with the subject line "Privacy Appeal" and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
11. Security
Iridium uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures appropriate to the nature and volume of information handled. No website, email system, payment system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information and contact us if you believe information associated with Iridium may have been accessed or used improperly.
12. Third-Party Websites and Services
The website may contain links to outside websites, social-media platforms, payment services, or other resources. Their privacy practices are controlled by those third parties, not by Iridium. Review their notices before providing personal information.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, services, vendors, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will show a new last-updated date. If a change materially affects how previously collected information is used, we will provide any additional notice or choice required by applicable law.
